Boys are made of frogs, snails, and puppy dog tails. Girls are made of sugar, spice, and all things nice.
This is a problem. Don't get me wrong we love our affectionately called, "baby boy," very much. We couldn't be more blessed as a family to be having him. However, having a boy is hard work. Little girls are so easy. Everything about planning for them is pretty and colorful. Little boys on the other hand well ... aren't as pretty. Of course, things can be cute. You really should not be saying the word "cute" around his daddy though.
We don't have a name, don't have a crib, don't have bedding, don't have a carseat, don't have a plan. We have managed to find a few pieces of clothing and that is about it. Picking and agreeing on a name has been hard. We will find one and then there is just something wrong with it. It's too manly, too cute, too squishy. Let's face it, how great are names like Gary, Hank, and Bob? No, not so great for a baby. Every little boy's room I see is cars, boats, or sports. Nothing is wrong with those things. They just aren't as sweet or appealing to me.
Oh! Izzie. What are we going to do with all these boys? I guess we will just love them even more.
