A Circus Full of Dragons Means a Happy Izzie!

Izzie finally got to see her dragon! She was so excited. I won't be the one to tell her they are fire breathing, potentially people eating, make believe animals, and that the one she saw was fake. It amazes me how she was not scared. Dragons aren't really friendly looking things. Now that I think about it, there isn't much that scares her really. The dark and being alone in it sometimes does. I showed her a lizard in the yard today. The first thing she said was that it ran away from the zoo. It made me laugh. Then she tried to get as close as possible, even though it was out of her reach. She's pretty fearless.

We dropped Garrett off on Saturday at Nina and Grandaddy's. We did not think he would be able to sit through the two hour plus show. Don't feel bad for him. He got his first golfing lesson from his Grandaddy. Then, they took him to get ice cream. He was spoiled!

The rest of us headed off to the circus. It was really great this year. It was good last year as well, but this year really held our attention. Izzie really liked it. She had lots of fun.

By the way, if your family is thinking about going to the circus just plan a trip to Disney instead. It is so expensive. $8 popcorn, $22 light up toy, $10 cotton candy. I kid you not! I did not make those prices up. It was well worth it, just to spend quality time together as a family but geesh! Oh speaking of Disney... We have officially booked our Disney trip for this Fall!!! We will be there for about a week over Halloween. We are so excited to be going back again. This will be Izzie's second time and Garrett's first! Woo hoo!
