Play Date Fun

We don't have many play dates. Life is crazy and time seems so limited. Whenever I can, I really try to give my kiddos outings, just good fun times. Todd is really good at taking them to do fun things, too. I am so impressed at things he has done alone with them, like Monkey Joes. I am not even that brave! It took us a whole year in our new house, we have been here since 2010, to find out we had such a cool playground close by. It is only a few miles down the road. Another great thing about this park is that there is hardly ever anyone there!

So this past month, February, we made a date with some friends and met them at the park with doughnuts and Chick-fil-a. I don't know what made me decide those two "food groups," but I figured it was the best of both breakfast worlds.

We had lots of fun. Garrett is a handful, but he did really well climbing on everything, running around, and going down every slide by himself he could find. They love playgrounds. We have a nice playlet in our backyard that they constantly ask to go out on. I know soon they will be old enough to go play outside by themselves, but not yet! I'm not ready for that anyways.
